What comes next

A.P. Barrett is currently working on The Art of Redemptive Suffering, a novel that grew out of 15,000 words submitted for his Creative Writing Masters dissertation — work that earned a Distinction, with examiners noting the pieces submitted were publishable. The novel is expected to be complete in late 2027, at which point he will seek representation for traditional publication.

Alongside his novels, he is developing several short stories — The Orange Cord, Escape from Cambois and The Grievance — and a theatre script, Whisky for the Wean.
